WHO TF IS SAXE?

Saxe The Label is the love child of two polar opposite mates: 
Ross + Brisky, made in Kings Cross.

Ross felt there wasn't enough grungey-esque options that were masc but didn't look like costume jewellery.

Brisky wanted classy rings that weren't the same old boring minimalism bullshit.

So they decided to combine their two aesthetics to strike a balance and create a gap they felt was missing: FERAL LUXURY

THE JOURNEY

It all started one summer afternoon after a swim, over some burgers in Bondi, Ross came to Brisky with a gripe: "I can't find any good jewellery that isn't try hard. Would it be crazy if I made my own?", Brisky replied with "No way! I've literally been thinking of making rings for the same reason!!"

The problem was, we had no idea what went into making terling silver jewellery, let alone a business.

So we spent over a year learning how to design and create jewellery.

It started with sketches, then quickly moved onto learning 3D CAD design with Blender, then buying a 3D printer and testing HUNDREDS of design ideas.

Then came the casting in sterling silver, pickling, sawing sprues (the worst f**king job), sanding, tumbling, patina, polishing, cleaning. Slowly Ross' apartment became covered in a thin layer of silver dust.

And on top of that, we continued to work our demanding 10+ hours a day jobs.

FINALLY we decided on 5 unique designs for our debut collection: DAMNED

This collection is a result of thousands of hours of research, craft, dedication and perseverance - and not to mention thousands of dollars (yikes). 

We wanted to throw in the towel a hundred times because Saxe truly became much bigger than we ever expected. If we knew how much effort went into being a silver smith we probably never would have tackled this.

But we're stoked we did...

We're so proud of how this collection turned out and we truly hope you love it just as much as we do.
